Project Details
This project involved the replacement of all vinyl flooring with a dementia friendly palette of coved vinyl flooring throughout the wards, corridors, clinical and communal areas of 7 cottage hospitals in Kent. Existing handrails were removed and replaced with anti-liguature handrails.
Works were undertaken in live ward environments and close daily liaison with nursing staff was essential to ensure patient safety whilst maintaining programme schedule.
